Meet Trisha, Founder of Bene
“I know first-hand the effects problematic skin can have on your self-esteem, at times literally not wanting to face the world and avoiding social interactions because of a bad breakout.”
Her passion for esthetics was fueled by her own struggles with adult-onset acne in her 20’s. Her drive to “figure it out” and help others along the way who were also struggling with their skin (and the self-esteem issues that come along with) have guided her career since 2007. After being dealt a breast cancer diagnosis in 2011 she found her skin changing due to the effects of medically-induced menopause and chemotherapy, giving her a different set of skin conditions she could personally empathize with.
“My skin went from oily and acne-prone to dry and sensitive almost overnight! I believe that gives me the unique ability to relate to people with widely varying skin types and conditions.”
Throughout her career as an esthetician she has found that offering a place of refuge for her clients, a place where they can relax, feel cared for and forget their stresses during their sessions is just as important as treating their skin. She believes in building relationships with her clients and has many clients that have been seeing her for over a decade.
“With every new client I meet- that’s always the goal: to build and nurture a relationship that lasts for years.”
Outside of work you can find Trisha enjoying time with her husband and fur-eather babies in Taylor, TX. They moved from Austin to Taylor in 2017 after falling in love with its historic neighborhood and small-town revival. They have 3 dogs, 3 cats and 4 rescue chickens that keep their life full of joy and a lot of action!
As a founding member and board secretary for Taylor Pride (Which made history in 2021 as the first Pride Event held in Williamson County!), you can find her helping establish and organize LGBTQ community events and resources for Taylor and the surrounding areas.
She also loves to travel and 2020’s pandemic-friendly vacation to Big Bend National Park sparked not only a renewed interest in visiting our country’s National Parks, but served as a huge inspiration for Bene.
What People Are Saying
“I have gone to Trisha for over 12 years now - from Ann Webb to Mint and Thyme and now to Bene. She is the ONLY person that I trust to do laser on my face, neck, arms. And she gives an excellent facial. Trisha always evaluates exactly what service that I need and makes recommendations. And my skin is glowing and I’m relaxed after a treatment with her. Trisha is the BEST!”

“I started seeing Trisha for my facials and skin care over 10 years when she was with Ann Webb. I followed her to the opening of Mint and Thyme and then on to her newest venture, Bene Skin & Laser. Trisha takes the time to get to know her client’s skin care needs and recommends only needed products and procedures. I am certain that my skin has aged better because of Trisha’s care.”

She's just a very good person who knows her stuff and is responsive and supportive. She's a lifer with me and my skin care!”
